The ingredients needed to cook Amritsari Chole:
- Get 2 cup chole/safed chana (soaked for 4-5 hours)
- Take 2 tbsp chana dal(soaked for 4-5 hours)
- Use 2 tsp salt
- Prepare 3 tsp dhania powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Use 1/2 tsp amchoor powder
- You need 1/4 tsp hing
- Use 1/2 tsp ajwain
- Prepare 3-4 tsp chana masala powder
- You need 1/2 tsp kala namak
- Provide 1/2 tsp bhuna jeera powder
- Prepare 1 tsp kasoori methi
- You need 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Take 4-5 tsp refined oil/olive oil
- Get 2 cups tea leaves water (only for black colour)
Steps to make Amritsari Chole:
- Add all the above masalas, soaked chole and chana dal and tea water and plain water in the cooker and now keep the cooker on the gas on high flame. When one whistle comes then lower (sim) the gas and keep it on it for 1 hr.
