- Use 1 kg shelled peas
- Take 4 medium size potatoes each cut into 4 pieces
- Take 2 medium size onions sliced
- Prepare 2 tomatoes grated
- Provide 1/4 tsp haldi (Turmeric)powder
- You need 1 tsp jeera (cumin)powder
- You need 1 tbsp dhania(Coriander) powder
- Prepare 1 tsp Kitchen king masala powder
- You need 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Get 1 tsp green chilli paste
- You need 4 tbsp oil
- Get to taste Salt
- Take 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps to make Aloo Matar:
- Heat oil in a kadai add the sliced onions fry till golden brown. Then add ginger garlic paste and green chilli paste fry for a few mins. Add haldi powder, dhania powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder and kitchen king masala and stir fry for few mins
- After fry the masala add the grated tomatoes and fry till raw smell goes and oil leaves the sides
- Add the peas and potatoes and stir fry till it gets mixed with the masala well. Add salt & enough hot water to cook the peas and potatoes. Cover and cook on medium flame till potatoes & peas are done. Then sprinkle the coriander leaves
