The ingredients needed to make Masala Dosa:
- Provide cup Urad dal-1
- You need 1/2 cups Rice-2
- Take tsp Fenugreek or methi seeds
- Prepare as per taste salt
- You need for sambar
- Provide 2 cups Toor dal
- Prepare 10-12 chopped beans
- Get 1 (small) chopped carrot
- Provide 1/2 Chopped pumpkin
- Prepare as per taste tamarind pulp
- Use 2-3 tsp Sambar powder
- Take 1 tsp coriander powder
- Take 3/4 Salt whole red chillies
- Prepare 2 tsp Red chilli powder-
- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder

- Prepare boiled potatoes-5-6

- You need garam masala powder
- Use chaat masala

Instructions to make Masala Dosa:
- Soak dal and rice separately for 3-4 hrs.
- After that grind the rice and dal in a mixer separately and make a fine batter. Now mix the batter in a bowl and leave it for fermentation for 5-6 hrs or until it has bubbles on it, add salt. The batter is ready for dosas now.
- Wash the dal m take a pressure cooker,add water to it.add washed dal, turmeric powder, salt and hing to it. Cover with lid and pressure cook for 10 minutes, switch off the gas, take out the steam, blend the dal, add chopped veggies m again pressure cook till the veggies are cooked.
- For tempering take a pan, add oil add mustard seeds let splutter add dried red chillies, curry leaves chopped tomatoes, gur or jaggery add curry leaves and add above-mentioned spices and tamarind pulp as per taste, mix well and cook for 10 min.
- For the filling, take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds and dried red chillies and above-mentioned spices or masala, add boiled potatoes mash it and cook for 2-3 mins, the filling for dosas is ready.
- For the dosa….Take a dosa tawa or non-stick tawa, pour two spoonfuls on medium hot tawa. spread the mixture in a circular motion, add masala filling, sprinkle oil on it. let it become golden brown and crisp, fold on the side. Serve hot with hot sambar and chutney
