The ingredients needed to make Dhuska:
- Provide 1 cup Basmati rice
- Use 1/2 cup Chana dal (Bengal Gram Dal)
- Use 2 tbsp fresh Green peas
- Take to taste Salt,
- Prepare 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves(finely chopped)
- Take 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Get 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- Provide as required Oil for fry
Steps to make Dhuska:
- Soak Rice and chana dal for 4-5 hours.
- Wash and drain.
- Grind rice and chana dal with water to a idli/dosa batter consistency.
- Now add green peas, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and chopped coriander.
- Mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan and then pour some batter directly in the oil with the help of a laddle.
- Deep fry both the sides till it changes the colour.
- Transfer them on a paper towel and repeat the process with with remaining batter.
- Serve Dhuska along with Aloo Sabzi or Dhaniya Pudina Chutney.
