- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin wedges.
- Wash them with cold water so that excessive starch drains away.
- Take a bowl and add Gram flour, salt, red chilli flakes,red chilli powder,salt and cumin powder.Mix them well.
- Now add water in it while mixing continuously. Make a paste of medium consistency.
- Now add potato wedges in this mixture and mix well.
- Set it aside for 15 minutes so that it marinates well.
- Now for deep frying, heat the oil in a pan.
- Put potato wedges into it one by one.
- Keeping the flame medium to high, deep fry them for atleast 8-10 minutes untill colour changes to golden brown.
