- Take 1 cup Leftover Lauki sabzi
- Use 1 cup Chana flour(sattu)
- Use 1/2 cup poha
- Prepare 1 Carrot(grated)

- Take 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- You need 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Prepare as per taste Red chiili powder

- Use 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds(for tempering)
- Use 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Use as required Oil
Instructions to make Masala Appe:
- Take leftover sabzi in a bowl and mash it with the help of a ladle. Mix Chana flour in it. Add little water and mix everything.
- Mix gently and add grated carrot, chopped onion and green chillies in it. Add pepper powder, cumin powder, little red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
- Take poha and wash it well. Strain and keep aside for 5 minutes. Add strained poha in the mixture. Mix well.
- Take oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds. Roast peanuts and sesame seeds. Add this tempering in the mixture
- Grease appam pan and put batter in the cavities.Cover and cook. Flip to the other side.
